According to TheAthletic reporters Kelly Iko and Tony Jones, league sources revealed that so far, there has been little progress between the 76ers and restricted free agent Grimes.

76ers had already given a qualification offer to Grimes last month, who is now a restricted free agent.
After being traded to the 76ers last season, Grimes played 28 games, averaging 21.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.5 steals per game, shooting percentage of 46.9%, three-pointers, 37.3%, and free throws of 75.2%.
