Coffey signed a training camp contract with the Bucks in August. Coffey played for the Clippers in the first six seasons of the NBA. In the 2024-25 season, he played 72 games, averaging 9.7 points, 2.2 rebounds and 1.1 assists per game, shooting 47.1% from the field and 40.9% from three-point range.
It is worth noting that Bucks coach Rivers coached the Clippers during Kofi's rookie season and was Kofi's first coach.
