Today, ESPN Lakers team reporter Dave McMenamin reported on the TV show about the prospects of Lakers forward James James' comeback.

"It has been about three weeks since he was diagnosed with right-sided sciatica, and I have been told that he is expected to need about three more weeks to recover, with the goal of returning to competition in mid-November. In the past few days, multiple sources have stated that his recovery is going well and that everything is going in the expected direction. So all parties Fang has very good expectations for this. He did not go to Sacramento with the team, which does not mean that he suffered any recurrence of injuries, but because this is a back-to-back schedule, there is no need for him to travel back and forth without playing. He can stay in Los Angeles and use this time to recover," McMenamin said.
