Oracle, the world's largest enterprise software company, soared 42% on Wednesday. The company's founder and chairman Larry Ellison's total net worth once reached $393 billion, surpassing Musk's $385 billion to top the world's richest man.

As Oracle's stock price closed slightly, Ellison's net worth dropped slightly to $383.2 billion, and then fell back to second place. Ellison's net worth surged by $89 billion in a single day, the largest single-day wealth increase recorded in the index.

Oracle officially obtained the 10-year naming rights of the Warriors' former home court (Oakland Arena) in 2006, and renewed its contract until 2019. As the Warriors moved to the Chase Center, Oracle did not renew the contract and the stadium name was changed back to the Auckland Arena.
