Yahoo Sports reported that several NBA executives said that if Flagg had not skipped to the 2025 class and waited until next year to participate in the draft according to the normal time, he would only be ranked third overall at best, and may even fall to fifth or sixth!
There are currently many freshmen in the 2026 draft who are quite famous and perform well, such as DiBanza, Cameron Boozer and Darin Peterson.
