Early this morning, in the 11th round of Serie A, Inter Milan defeated Lazio 2-0 at home. Inter Milan coach Chivu was interviewed after the game.

Inter Milan rose to the top of the Serie A standings. Are you satisfied with this?

I am satisfied with the team's performance so far, but I will not pay attention to the standings now. I enjoy the team working hard to achieve our goals and we have the ability to continue to prove ourselves.

What do you think is the best thing about Inter Milan in tonight’s game?

Facing a strong team with high tactical literacy like Lazio, the entire Inter Milan team is eager to dominate the game. Next, we will enjoy the offseason and wish the players of Inter Milan all the best to participate in the national team competition. We also wish the Italian national team a good performance.

Is the offensive aggression shown by Inter Milan today part of the pre-match tactical arrangement?

We have been training around this since the beginning of the season. During the game, the player's mental transition between the 'ball possession phase' and the 'off ball phase' is crucial. This is more of a psychological issue than a purely tactical organizational issue. Tonight we tried to add some new elements to the original foundation, and finally opened up the situation. During the game, we always maintained aggressiveness, worked hard to steal the ball, and sometimes retreated defensively to control the rhythm of the game.

Does Inter Milan have any new adjustments at the tactical level?

In the offensive phase, we have many ways to break the opponent's press. Tonight we need to consider both short passes on the ground and long passes from high altitude. Through quick passes, we can put our opponents into a passive position. Maybe we could have been more patient, but we played very maturely in this game and the whole team showed a desire to control the game. We are delighted with this victory.

In recent games, Inter Milan’s central defender positions have been adjusted from time to time. Is there no clear starting order in the Inter Milan team?

I hope that every player can participate in the game. There is no so-called 'main order' in the team. Every player should feel like a regular and if I can't give them a chance to prove their ability and meet their expectations, then it's all in vain. If a player never gets a chance to play, I can't look them in the eye and say something encouraging.

The players understand this and appreciate this approach because I have always tried to be honest. I will pay attention to each player's personal feelings, after all, they train very hard. In football you win, you lose, you draw, and for me the most important thing is to get everyone involved. I'm lucky to have such a team.
