The Daily Sports Daily reported that as Moriba completed the transfer, Barcelona also received a share of 600,000 euros.

Barcelona's policy of setting future transfer share clauses in player transfers continues to take effect, and the club has confirmed that it will earn 600,000 euros. Celta informed Leipzig on Sunday that it would exercise the option of buying out Lamacia's trained midfielder Moriba for €6 million.

Moriba, who made her first-team debut during Koeman's tenure in 2019, forced her to leave the team in the summer window of 2021, and transferred to Leipzig for a fixed + 6 million euros. Barcelona retained 10% of the second transfer share. The player performed poorly in the Bundesliga. He was loaned to Valencia that season and then moved to Getafe until he joined Celta last summer. His outstanding performance prompted Celta to decide to activate the 6 million euro buyout clause.

Moriba is not the first player to generate revenue for Barcelona through such terms this summer. Todibo recently transferred to West Ham United for 40 million euros, and Nice will need to pay Barcelona an 8 million euro share. Left-back Valais also brought Barcelona 6 million euros in revenue as the Como club implemented the buyout option. Similar operations also included Porto's transfer to Manchester City in the winter window, and Barcelona finally received a share of 10.3 million euros.

For the rest of the summer, Barcelona may also profit from the transfer share of the following players: Mingeza (Celta, 50%), Mica Marmore (Las Palmas, 50%), Estanis Pedrola (Sampdoria, 50%) and Corrado (30%).
