According to the French "L'Equipe" report, Boubacar Kamara, who was sentenced to four years in prison (with two years of probation) in the "Pogba case" in December 2024, will be released from prison on October 21.

This Friday morning, his lawyer Said Harir’s application for sentence adjustment was approved by the Paris Court of Appeal. The court ruled that Camara should be allowed to serve home confinement with electronic monitoring.

The specific terms of home detention include: daily permitted outing hours from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., as well as specific obligations related to Boubacar Kamara's reintegration plan, such as resuming his training as a sports coach, and a ban on contact with Pogba and certain co-sentenced persons.

Boubacar Kamara was held in pretrial detention for three and a half months in 2022. He was officially imprisoned on March 13, 2025, and was originally scheduled to serve until November 27, 2026.
