According to Italian journalist Longo, Marseille will not buy out Benassel.

reported that after joining Marseille on loan in the winter window, Bennasser contributed two key assists, but the impact of his injury caused him to only 12 appearances. After consideration, Marseille decided to give up the activation of the 12 million euro buyout clause, and Bennasser will return to Milan after the loan expiration.

Although sports director Benatia and coach Dezelby insist on retaining Bennasser, Marseille senior executives have considered the players' past injury history that the investment is relatively cost-effective. They are negotiating with Milan for a second loan to avoid the financial risks of permanent transfers.

Milan will confirm Bennasser's tactical adaptability with coach Allegri and listen to the players' own development intentions. Milan's priority goal is to try to sell Bennasser for a permanent transfer (currently German turnover price of 15 million euros), and the alternative is to accept a loan with a mandatory buyout clause.
