While attending the Federal Council meeting, Italian Football Federation President Gravina accepted media interviews and answered questions about the Italian national team's World Cup prospects.

Is there a World Cup craze in the world now? How does it feel to see Italy still fighting for promotion while Cape Verde has already qualified?

Gravina: "This is a different competition system, and FIFA needs to find a balance at the global level. Six of the 10 South American teams can qualify for the World Cup, with a participation rate of 60%, but the qualification ratio for the highest level of European football in the world is completely different. We don't want to be negative. Pessimistic thoughts, this can only have a negative impact.
