Spalletti's coaching of Juventus is only awaiting official announcement. Statistics show that the Bianconeri is also the 8th Serie A team coached by Spalletti.

Spalletti's coaching career began nearly 30 years ago (in 1997 at Empoli, which was also the end of his playing days). After experiencing the triple jump from Serie C to Serie A, he successfully led the Tuscan team to avoid relegation, and thus received an invitation from Sampdoria.

Although he was fired in December, he was recalled again two months later. In the end, he still could not prevent the team from being relegated to the second division. A subsequent coaching spell in Venice was similarly unsuccessful, also ending in dismissal.

The turning point came in Udinese: he first led the team into the UEFA Cup, and then into the Champions League, ranking fourth in Serie A in the final season. He then received a call from Roma and won three league runner-up finishes, two Italian Cups and an Italian Super Cup during his coaching career.

Returned to Italy after three brilliant years in Russia, took charge of Roma again and led the team to another runner-up finish. Recent experiences include: two years at Inter Milan, the pinnacle masterpiece of Naples, frustration in coaching the Italian national team...
