David Aganso, chairman of the Spanish Professional Footballers Association, was interviewed recently and talked about how he helped Athletic Bilbao successfully sign Laporte this summer.
In the summer, Aganso played a crucial role in convincing FIFA and allowing Laporte to play for Athletic Bilbao again. He said: "This is what Laporte deserves, he is a great person, and things have been in a very embarrassing situation, as if in an unresolved dilemma.
