Yesterday FIFA issued an official statement that the Malaysian Football Association forged documents of 7 naturalized players, and the relevant players were banned from participating in any football activities for one year, including La Liga Alaves' main central defender Garces.
Garces played all the games in the six rounds of La Liga in the new season. Now Alaves has officially confirmed that he has received a FIFA suspension notice and players will not be able to play.
Galces, 26 years old, was originally from Argentina. After naturalized and joined Malaysia, he played in two games and turned 2 million euros.
