According to "World Sports" report, Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen's recovery period after surgery has been extended and he is expected to return at the end of the year or early next year.

It has been more than three months since Ter Stegen underwent lumbar spine surgery, which was performed in Bordeaux and completed under the supervision of Barcelona team doctors. Previously, the German goalkeeper said on social media that he expected the recovery period after surgery to be three months.

However, now that the three-month deadline he set has passed, Ter Stegen has not only failed to return to the game, but has not even joined the full team training. He is not expected to be cleared to play until December or early January next year.
