According to previous reports, D'Antoni Melton has promised to join the Warriors.
Warriors reporter Dalton Johnson tweeted: "Melton performed perfectly in the 6 games he played side by side with Stephen Curry last season. Will he become the Warriors' starting shooting guard this season?"
In the 2024-25 season, Melton played 6 games for the Warriors, averaging 10.3 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals per game. He then suffered a torn ACL and severe injury and was reimbursed for the season.
