Ronaldo officially renewed his contract with Riyadh until 2027. This once again triggered discussions in the outside world about whether he could stage a "father and son on the same stage" with his son Mini Luo.
Ronaldo's eldest son Cristiano Ronaldo Junior just turned 15 this month and is currently playing for Riyadh's victory U-15 echelon. Last month, Mini Ronaldo was selected for the Portuguese U15 national team list and has now represented this national team in 4 games.
In an interview with French TV station in February this year, Ronaldo publicly expressed his desire to play football with his son. He said: "I really want to play football with my 14-year-old son, but I have to look at it again. This is not something that makes me sleepless at night. Let's wait and see, but it depends more on him, not me, because as time goes by, one day I will have to give up football. I am working hard to extend my career, but one day I will not be able to persist, not only physically but also psychologically."
If Ronaldo successfully plays until the contract expires, he will reach the age of 42, and Mini Ronaldo will be 17 years old by then.
