According to "Corriere dello Sport" reports, Zelinski may leave Inter Milan in the winter window.

Zelinski joined Inter Milan as a free agent last season. It was taken for granted that the Pole would perfectly integrate into Inzaghi's system. The team's goal is to strengthen the lineup with such a high-quality midfielder who is already comfortable in Serie A. In the long run, he should succeed Mkhitaryan, but the reality is that Zelinsky's first season was disappointing.

Zelinsky was injured in a warm-up match in Pisa from the beginning, and his performance thereafter was never stable enough, far from reaching the level he had in Naples. He has had sporadic flashes of brilliance, such as scoring twice from two penalties in the first leg at home to Juventus, but overall the gap to his performance at Napoli is huge.

After Chivu took office, Zelinski rekindled his desire to gain a foothold in Inter Milan. However, so far, he has only played 5 times in the league and Champions League, totaling 121 minutes. Although he got a chance to play, it was far from enough to prove that his situation had improved. His playing time ranked second to last among Inter midfielders, only more than Diouf. It is difficult to compete with Varela, Mkhitaryan and Calhanoglu for the main position. Zelinsky once scored a friendly goal against New Zealand in the national team and seemed to want to send some kind of signal to the club. As for whether it works, it still needs time to verify.

What can be confirmed at present is that the hypothesis that Zelinsky may leave the team before next summer is not completely impossible. His contract with Inter Milan expires in 2028, with an annual salary of 4.5 million euros.

The problem is that with this high salary, it is difficult for any club to be willing to pay the same treatment. However, if Zelinski is willing to lower his salary requirements in order to gain more playing time, there may be a chance to transfer.

In January next year, Zelinsky will evaluate the situation with his brokerage team. If a suitable offer comes in, Zelinski may pack his bags and leave, and his departure could clear the way for Inter to bring in a new midfielder.
